2011 Round-Up of Notable Education Bills
Below find links to three lists of noteworthy legislation that was passed by the California Legislature this year or made into two-year bills. Bills are sorted into three categories: Bills Signed by the Governor, Bills Vetoed by the Governor, and Two-Year Bills. A two-year bill is a piece of legislation that was introduced this year that the Legislature has decided to take two years to consider.

The final version of each bill, as sent to the Governor, is titled “Enrolled.” You can see how legislators voted on the bill in various committees and on the floor of the Senate and Assembly under the “Votes” section that you will find by scrolling down on the page.
