Jillian Kwan-Jacobs

Director of Financial Management & Operations

Jillian comes to EdVoice with over 20 years of professional experience in Finance and Operations. She spent the first part of her career in the finance industry concluding with the banking arms of Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Since earning her MBA from UC Berkeley in 2012 she has led teams and projects in mission-driven settings, with the last seven years holding top-of-function finance and operations roles in early stage digital-first health companies.

Through her volunteer efforts she has served on nonprofit boards and committees dedicated to youth and DEI education. Having attended K-12 schools in the San Francisco USD, then completing both undergraduate and graduate studies at UC Berkeley, Jillian is truly and proudly a product of the California public education system. A first-generation, ESL immigrant of Chinese descent from India, she has a deep appreciation for the life opportunities that access to a high-quality education can unlock.

Jillian resides in Orinda, CA with her husband, 10 year old son and three Brussels Griffon dogs. She is excited to dig in and help strengthen EdVoice’s financial management, technology and operations processes.
